Abstract

Tri‐isodecylamine is proposed as a versatile reagent for extracting inorganic anions from aqueous solution: its use in the determination of silica is described. The advantages of a non‐aqueous extraction method are discussed and full instructions given for the determination of silica in anhydrite and the like.
