โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

An enhanced cavity model for analyzing microstrip patch antenna is presented. The predicted resonant frequency and resonant resistance of the antenna are in good agreement with measured data. Theoretical results of the enhanced model are also compared with some commonly used models to determine their range of validity. ยฉ 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The resonant frequency of a circular patch antenna with and without circular cavity is measured. The patch miniaturization in the presence of the cavity is proved. Different methods of reducing resonant frequencies and broadening bandwidth without significantly reducing antenna gain are presented. C

## Abstract The quality factor, bandwidth, and efficiency are antenna's figures of merit and these are interrelated. There is no typical method that gives full freedom to optimize these independently. Here we proposed a novel and new method to optimize bandwidth with respect to radiation quality fa

## Abstract A novel method of computation of input impedance detected by a feed probe leads to a simple technique of designing a dualโ€band dualโ€polarized microstrip antenna using a shortingโ€pinโ€loaded circular patch. The computation of the radiation pattern displays a slantโ€polarized antenna, in wh
