โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

9โ€Arylacridineโ€1,8โ€dione derivatives were prepared in an ionic liquid medium in the presence of CeCl~3~ ฤ‹ 7H~2~O through an oneโ€pot procedure. The method presented here has the advantages of environmental benignancy, goodโ€toโ€excellent yields, and simple operational procedure. Moreover, the solvent and catalyst can be easily recovered and reused for several runs without obvious loss of activity. ยฉ 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
