β¦ Synopsis
Various designs of specimen holder 1-3 are used in apparatus for carrying out ultrasonic measurements at low temperatures. The following are the main requirements imposed on them:
(1) good temperature control of the specimen over the whole temperature range, (2) rapid and accurate establishment of the required temperature, and (3) easy changing of the specimen.
