✦ Synopsis
In this paper we describe an apparatus constructed to enable various measurements to be carried out in boiling liquid nitrogen in the temperature range 77-124 K. This is achieved using a pressurized liquid nitrogen vessel and is primarily intended to allow measurements of high transport currents (900 A) in various high temperature superconductors of technolog'ical interest for which measurement data are also presented.
