## Abstract DL‐Ephedrin und DL‐__pseudo__‐Ephedrin werden mit Oxalsäurederivaten unter Konfigurationserhalt zu den diastereomeren DL‐3.4‐Dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐morpholin‐dionen‐(5.6) umgesetzt. Durch Reduktion mit Lithiumaluminiumhydrid entstehen daraus die epimeren DL‐__N__‐[β‐Hydroxy‐äthyl]‐ephedrine.
