Synthesis and spectral analysis of several 8-substituted dinaphtho[2, I-d: I ',2'-g][1,3,6,2]dioxathiaphosphocin 8-oxides have been described. An X-ray crystallographic study of 8-(2',3'-dimethylphenoxy) dinaphtho[2,3,6,2]dioxathiaphosphocin 8-oxide has indicated that, in the solid state, the dioxat
