## Long history John Crane developed the first non-contacting, dry-running gas seal 30 years ago, according to Hosanna. He says that since then the Type 28 seals have been used in thousands of applications around the world. Many of the seals have been performing for 10 years or more.

β¦ Synopsis
Henkel Corporation has introduced the Loctite 7700
Handheld LED Light Source. This is a high-powered, portable curing system that is capable of curing many UV/visible light curing adhesives in seconds.
The device features a patentpending LED curing technology and has an output of 500 mW/cm 2 at a wavelength of 405 nm. The unit is said to be particularly useful for applications in crowded or hard-to-reach areas. It may be powered using rechargeable batteries, or connected to an AC adapter.
The LED technology allows instant on/off performance, and a consistent light output. The highly focused spectral output virtually eliminates overheated assemblies, and minimizes the amount of irradiated ultraviolet energy, to minimize workplace exposure concerns.

This patent is concerned with the duo-cone type of mechanical face seal that is used in earthmoving equipment applications. Elastic layers (28, 29) are used on the conical surfaces of the seal rings and housing respectively. The purpose is to inhibit entrainment of debris.
This patent aims to provide an inexpensive, corrosion resistant gasket that facilitates a capacitive coupling between an aircraft passenger window and the aircraft frame. It includes an elastomeric matrix and a conductive media bound into the matrix.
