Das Geschwindigkeitsverhaltnis wird darin aus der Partikelsinkgeschwindigkeit, bei der die Verteilungssumme der Partikeln 50% betragt, zur mittleren Fluidgeschwindigkeit bestimmt. In unseren Rechnungen wurde eine Verteilungsfunktion D ( d ) nach Rosin-Rummler-Sperlirzg benutzt, von deren Parameter n der Sedimentationsgrad ebenfalls abhangt. Die Berechnung der Sedimentation fur kreisformige Rohre erfolgt in entsprechender Weise.
