✦ Synopsis

A combined theoretical and practical course on important aspects of and recent achievements in plant transformation and regeneration, plant molecular genetics and plant genetic engineering. The emphasis will be on strategies in which the techniques of plant molecular biology are used as tools to overcome problems in agriculture related to pathogens, crop protectants, breeding properties and product quality. The course is aimed at PhD students and postdoctoral fellows in agrobiotechnological research or industry.
