โฆ Synopsis
In this paper a systematic study of diffusion coefficients in liquid systems is given. The new radioactive tracer technique developed in our laboratory has been described and the experimental results in the case of several electrolyte solutions obtained by this method are described in detail. The data has been analysed in the light of the existing theories of electrolytic solutions and the phenomenological coefficients L,, , L,,, L,, have been calculated utilizing a simplified version of Onsager's theory.
