I J Both normal and promoted absorption of vitamin Blz in the doubly ligated stomach and the intact GI tract of the rat were investigated using 67Co-labeled cyanocobalamin. Very little absorption of vitamin Bl2 occurs normally from the ligated stomach of the rat. Much more absorption is seen from th
