## M-y body pxtubation theory is used to calcuhte on approximate Hnrtree-Fack photoionization cross section for CH. The results show a large increae at threshold compared to that obtained from unperturkd atomic matrix elements. At higher energies the cross section approaches the atomic value.

Laboratory measurements of absolute infrared absorption cross sections for three strong bands of NzOs have been made as a function of temperature from 233 to 350 K. The results of this study confirm most of the recent laboratory studies, indicating reasonable confidence in cross sections for this mo
