β¦ Synopsis
Simultaneous T, measurements for ?Si and 'H or 19F in SiH4 and SiF, gas lead to spin-rotation constants for %i which provide shielding values oO(*%, SiH,) = 475.3 k 10 ppm and u0(29Si, SiF4) =482 f 10 ppm. The absolute shielding in Me.,Si liquid reference is 368.5 k 10 ppm, with which 29Si chemical shifts can be converted to absolute shielding. We find that the 'H absolute shielding scale, the "'F absolute shielding scale and the two completely independent determinations of the *%i shielding scale are all in agreement.

## Abstract We have performed the direct measurements of ^13^C magnetic shielding for pure liquid TMS, solution of 1% TMS in CDCl~3~ and solid fullerene. The measurements were carried out in spherical ampoules exploring the relation between the resonance frequencies, shielding constants and magneti
