The analysis of the linestrengths of the infrared spectrum of methane (12 and 13) in the 3-5 m region has been revisited on the basis of new measurements from Fourier transform spectra recorded at Kitt Peak under various optical densities. A simultaneous fit of these new data with previously reporte

✦ Synopsis
We measured 305 absolute line intensities in the ν 1 + ν 3 ( + u )-0( + g ) band of 12 C 2 H 2 and 13 C 12 CH 2 and the
bands of the main isotopomer, all observed near 1.5 µm. The absolute intensity of these bands are respectively 6.4882 (34), 0.12337 (10), 0.083746 (71), 0.58771 (28), and 0.32126 (11) cm -2 atm -1 at 296 K. In addition, we also determined Herman-Wallis factors for the first time in this spectral region.

Absolute line intensities were measured at high resolution with a tunable diode laser. This work concerns the 2 2 0 band of cyanogen chloride ClCN in the region 780 cm Ϫ1 . Thirty-two absorption lines were recorded for the isotopomer 35 ClCN and 26 lines for 37 ClCN. From the analysis of these lines
