λ 5 Si-silicate / SiO 2 N 2 C framework / Hypervalent compounds / Main-group elements The reaction of (Me 2 N) 3 SiCH 2 CH 2 NMe 2 with 2-amino-4-pound 7 was characterized by 1 H, 13 C, and 29 Si solution-state and 29 Si solid-state NMR spectroscopy, in addition to single-nitrophenol (molar ratio 1:2) in acetonitrile yields the zwitterionic spirocyclic λ 5 Si-silicate [2-(dimethylammonio)ethyl]-crystal X-ray diffraction.
