## Abstract A stacked rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is studied experimentally. The achieved impedance bandwidth of two DR stacked antenna is about 73%. By stacking two different permittivity DRs, the multiβband of single element DRA is changed to single wideband giving out improvem

β¦ Synopsis
laser (EXFO FLS2600). The transmitted optical power is measured with a powermeter (HP 81532A), working in the 800 -1700-nm range. Both the optical source and detector are connected to a computer by GPIB links. By varying the wavelength of the tunable source laser and measuring the transmitted power, we can plot the transmission response of the various gratings.

## Abstract In this paper, the advantages of using Lβshaped microstrip feed to excite a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) by electromagnetic coupling are presented. This feeding technique enhances the bandwidth and gain of the antenna without affecting its size. The experimental result
## Abstract This paper presents a new wideband dielectric resonator (DR) antenna. To enhance the bandwidth, two layers of stacked resonators having the same rotational axis of symmetry are used. At the bottom layer, a smaller cylindrical DR is placed concentrically inside a large annularβring DR, w
## Abstract A dielectric resonator excited by a coaxial probe and designed for an omniβdirectional pattern is considered. Combining two dielectric resonators of different dielectric material with each other enhances bandwidth. The effect of antenna parameters such as dielectric constant and probe l
Probe-fed cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas CDRAs , with dielectric constant β s 37 and supported by an infinite ground plane, are simulated using the finite r element method. From this, closed form expressions are obtained for the resonant frequency, directivity, and unloaded Q-factor, appl
A stacked dielectric resonator antenna DRA , composed of an annular ring excited by a coaxial probe and two cylindrical ( ) dielectric resonators CDRs , is studied experimentally for three-frequency band operation. A maximum frequency ratio of 1.75 is achie¨ed between higher and lower frequencies, a
