Forced oscillations of delaminated sandwich structures are dominated by impacts. A rigid body-spring model allows a discussion of the in#uence of internal dissipation on the system's response and the evolution of the number of impacts.

In the present work the thermal behavior of a typical solar still i.q examined experimentally and theoretically and its basic characteristics are analyzed. It is concluded from a large number of experimental measurements that the operation of such stills during daytime is characterized by three phas
Layer buckling and delamination is a common interfacial failure phenomenon in thin film multi-layer structures that are used in flexible display applications. Typically, the substrate is coated on both sides with a hybrid coating, called a hard coat (HC), which acts as a gas barrier and also increas
Consider a ligand-gated channel with n agonist binding sites which can undergo desensitization. We present a theoretical experimental procedure for pinpointing the principal receptor state from which there is a transition to the desensitized state. The method is based on the observation that the dep
