DrAhloNo's method of estimating the size distribution of aromatic planes in a noncrystalline medium has been applied to a number of liquid hydrocarbon specimens and the results shown to suffer from both inaccuracy and inconsistency.

It would appear that similar results for coals may be quite misleading, while those from cokes and similar materials should he treated 1, ith caution
