## Abstract The conformation of 4‐deoxy‐α‐L‐__threo__‐4‐enohexopyranosyluronic acid (1 β†’ 3)2‐acetamido‐2‐deoxy‐d‐hexoses was analyzed by NMR spectroscopy. The half‐chair (H~1~^2^) conformation was found in the unsaturated uronide moiety and the chair (__Cl__) conformation in the hexosamine moiety.
