A rapid and sensitive solid-phase radioimmunoassay for serum hLH has been developed which requires only 1 day to complete. Assay of sera from normal women provided values which agree with those obtained by other methods. At ovulation the mean of the hLH peaks for eight cycles was 27.1 mIU hLH/ml of

β¦ Synopsis
A sensitive and specific radioimmunoassay method for human erythrocyte carbonic anhydrase B was developed using a solid-phase technique. The assay was found to be sensitive for the detection of nanogram amounts of the enzyme in incubation mixtures. lodination of it gave rise to a loss of antigenicity and a solid-phase assay technique using antibody-coated paper discs was employed in order to exclude the chemical modification or conformational changes of the enzyme. The levels of carbonic anhydrase B in the erythrocytes of newborn infants and in some biological fluids were determined.

A sensitive, reproducible, and rapid radioimmunoassay was developed to determine elastin peptide content of human serum in nanogram amounts. Significant differences have been determined between normal volunteers, both smokers and nonsmokers, and patients wth chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Th
A radioimmunoassay for the insulin receptor has been developed. In this assay, unlabeled receptor competes with 'ZSI-labeled receptor for binding to monoclonal anti-receptor antibodies immobilized on microtiter wells coated with affinity-purified anti-mouse immunoglobulin G. A solid-phase radioimmunoassay for measuring neutrophil elastase in the range 0.08-4 rig/ml has been developed. A monospecific, precipitating antibody capable of inhibiting elastinolysis was produced by repeated immunizations of a goat. The IgG fraction and affinity-purified antibodies of this serum
A solid-phase radioimmunoassay for the detection of anti-ribosome antibodies is described. Only small quantities of ribosomal particles are required, and low levels of antibody can be detected by very simple procedures. This assay has been used to detect antibodies which bind to intact ribosomes and
In this paper we elaborate a one-step procedure for the selective extraction of urinary 11-dehydrothromboxane B2 on octylsilyl silica cartridges for reliable determination with radioimmunoassay. The immunoreactivity profile of nonselectively extracted urine after HPLC separation showed that as much
