Lnsing at 285.55 cm-' has been observed from a flash photolyzed Hz and Oa mixture. The oscillating line has been assigned to a water transition pumped by B resonance energy transfer mechanism.

We report 25 new laser lines from 13 CH 3 OH methanol when pumped by a cw CO 2 laser. The majority of the lines are pumped by the 10R (regular) and 10SR (sequence) bands of the CO 2 laser.
