A simple and sensitive (at the ng/mL level) method for buprenorphine assay in urine is described. Buprenorphine is extracted by a C18 cartridge, derivatized with dansyl chloride, resolved by a uni-dimensional, two developing mobile phase high-performance thin layer chromatography system and quantifi

โฆ Synopsis
Base ratio analysis of small amounts of RNA isolated from human specimens requires a sensitive and reproducible method at the level of 5-10 pg of hydrolyzates. We have found that a modification of the method described by Smith and Markham (1) meets both these requirements.
Complete separation in 2.5 hr at room temperature instead of the 2 days previously required (1) has been achieved using thin layers of cellulose under appropriate conditions and microgram amounts of hydrolyzates.

A rapid thin-layer chromatographic method on Gelman I.T.L.C. type SA plates for the determination of choline acetylase activity has been developed. The mobile phase consists of sodium tetraphenylboron dissolved in acetonitrile. The Rt values for acetyl coenzyme A and acetate are about 0.1, while tha
