## Abstract A high‐yielding synthesis of biologically active spiro‐[cyclopropane‐1,2′‐steroids] with a Ξ”^4^′‐3′‐one moiety by using the Simmons Smith reaction is described. 2‐Methylene‐4‐en‐3‐one steroids are treated with methylene iodide (ratio 1:1).
