✦ Synopsis


Although there are some fraction collectors available for large volumes and for operation under refrigeration, the instrument described here has the advantage of being simple and readily fabricated without any demanding machine work. It is also sufhciently compact that the space required in a lateral direction is little more than that occupied by the bottles in which the collection is made, and will fit readily in a domestictype refrigerator.
