β¦ Synopsis
A series of non-hydrated triphosphates containing cesium, Cs 2 MP 3 O 10 (MΒΌ Ga; Al, Cr), has been synthesized for the first time. Their original structure crystallizes in the space group P2 1 =c; with aE12.3 ( A, bE9.0 ( A, cE9.5 ( A and bE951. The [MP 3 O 10 ] N layers built up of corner-sharing MO 6 octahedra and tritetrahedral P 3 O 10 groups can be described from MP 3 O 13 units in which one MO 6 octahedra shares the three corners of one face with one P 3 O 10 group. The open character of the layers makes that Cs + cations are not only interleaved between the layers, but also located in the pseudo-tunnels they present.

The two compounds are isostructural and crystallize in the orthorho
