✦ Synopsis

Β± Automatic, technologically feasible creation of a number of process orders over all steps of the production process with and without taking stocks into account (cascade) Β± Automatic generation of a view of all plants displaying the resource utilization of the involved machines, manual movement of process orders in this view In order to rely on a widely accepted platform, MS Excel was employed as the user interface. This way, the user can easily customize the information representation by changing the layout and including user-specific formulas and time lines.

The product was derived from an established planning system that has been on the market for ten years. First applications of this Excel interface are in two Swiss Enterprises for production planning of fine chemicals and pigments.
