โฆ Synopsis
Measurements were made on a 1:20 scale model of a large aperture in a building. The experimental results were compared with the predictions of a simple theoretical model. Large discrepancies were observed at large aperture widths and high frequencies. The experimental data were used to derive corrections which were applied to the computer predictions to yield design charts suitable for use by the building designer.
