## Abstract Bioluminescent dinoflagellates are flow‐sensitive marine organisms that produce light emission almost instantaneously upon stimulation by fluid shear in a shear stress dose‐dependent manner. In the present study we tested the hypothesis that monitoring bioluminescence by suspended dinof
