✦ Synopsis

A new laser technique is described for the determination of statejesokxi product distriiutions at relatively high total pressures (==I torr). An active species is usted by one laser pulse, and products of its destruction are detected by laser-induced fluorescence within 520 ns. For the E-to-V process, Cd(' Pl) + N2 + W(3Pe,~,2) + N2, the initial 3Po:3P~:3P2 distriiution is 0.
