## Abstract A modification of our previously reported^2^ gas chromatographic method of preparing vinyl‐^14^C~2~ chloride (^14^C‐VC) has been made. The procedure using 1,2‐dichloroethane‐^14^C~2~ obtained from New England Nuclear Corporation gave good yields of ^14^C‐VC as a gas mixture with helium.

## Abstract A simple and rapid procedure for the preparation of [16,16‐^2^H~2~]‐and [16,16,17‐^2^H~3~]testosterone of high isotopic purity is described. [16,16‐^2^H~2~]DehydrOepiandrosterone is obtained by base‐catalysed exchange; reduction of the 17‐keto group using lithium aluminium hydride or li
