โœฆ Synopsis

A rapid method has been developed to determine the sorption isotherms of peanuts. The equilibrium relative humidities ranging from 10 to 95% for peanut pods, kernels and hulls were measured at temperatures ranging from 5 to 453C. No signi"cant di!erences were found between the experimental results of the equilibrium moisture content and equilibrium relative humidity methods. The curve-"tting agreement of the adsorption and desorption data for four equilibrium relative humidity models was evaluated. The best models and their estimated parameters were shown in this study.
