β¦ Synopsis
A rapid and simple gas-liquid chromatographic method for the determination of subnanomolar amounts of carbohydrates derived from glycoproteins is described. The procedure involves methanolysis in the presence of methyl acetate followed by removal of hydrogen chloride by c~va~ration with t-butyl alcohol and trimethylsilylation. The method is also apphcable to samples containing uranic acids and lipids.
