## Abstract The ^13^C NMR spectra of a number of partial clerodane structures and analogous compounds were recorded. The information thus obtained enabled the assignment of the ^13^C NMR shifts in a number of naturally occurring clerodanes.

Abstract
The initial assignments for C‐6 and C‐8 in the carbon spectrum of estrone [3‐hydroxyestra‐1,3,5(10)‐triene‐17‐one] were reversed by a subsequent group of investigators. Recent respected reference publications have reproduced these conflicting sets of data, reflecting an uncertainty regarding the correct assignments. The implied question has been answered with the aid of APT, 2D COSY and HETCOR experiments.

## Abstract This article presents the structure elucidation of four new compounds, formed during the hemisynthetic preparation of trabectedin, an anti‐tumor natural product from __Ecteinascidia turbinata__. We report herein on the use of UV, MS and NMR spectroscopic data along with ^1^H and ^13^C s
## Abstract The ^13^C NMR spectrum of anisomycin and the ^1^H and ^13^C NMR spectra of deacetylanisomycin were assigned using one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR analysis. The techniques included INEPT, ^1^H^13^C HETCORR and ^1^H‐^1^H COSY spectroscopy.
## Abstract Vitamin E is a family of chromanols that vary by the degree of methylation of the chroman ring as well as the nature of the hydrophobic side chain at C2 that serves to anchor these lipids in biological membranes. The tocopherols contain saturated side chains, whereas the tocotrienols co
