QNS spectra

of TMACA have been measured at various temperatures in both ferro-and paraelectric phases. Subsequent phase transitions, as connected with releasing reorientational degrees of freedom of the (CH,)NH; cations, were evidenced in the QNS data. A model of uniaxial 120" jumps of both the cation and its methyl groups (with similar characteristic times) proved satisfactory in data analysis. This model may be oversimplified in the paraelectric phase.
