Abstract

A simple, efficient and relatively cheap procedure for synthesising radiolabelled PGF~2α~ from arachidonate or PGE~2~ is described. The method exploits the stereospecific enzymatic reduction of PGE~2~ by PGE~2~‐9‐ketoreductase from rabbit renal cortex.
