โœฆ Synopsis

A program is presented which allows the digital integration of evoked responses. Initially the operator has the possibility of displaying the averaged response and controlling its characteristics. Afterwards, input data are provided as: (1) number of recording electrodes; (2) number of levels, initial level and step between levels (in case of stereotaxical recording); (3) number of responses to be averaged; (4) number of data points; (5) sampling rate; (6) the maximum expected amplitude; (7) the expected latency. By assigning different symbols to the different response amplitudes, anatomical plots can be obtained from structures which respond to external stimulation.

Three LINC programs are described which can be used to calculate and display several statistical indicators of a sampled cortical evoked potential waveform. We have developed a computer program for Wiener filtering of evoked potential data. The basic algorithm involves computation of the difference between the power spectrum of the sweep sum and the sum of power spectra of individual sweeps. Power spectra axe computed by means of the discrete Fourier tr

A system, controlled by a microcomputer (LSI-1 l/23 with appropriate peripherals) for conducting evoked potential (EP) experiments, is described. In each experimental trial, a stimulus is applied and multichannel EEG is sampled, displayed, and stored in an output file. Any required length of pre-and
