โฆ Synopsis
Silver(I)-templated cyclocondensation of pyridine-2,6_dicarbaldehyde and 3-oxa-1,5-diammopentane yields a dinuclear silver(I) complex of the '2+2' tetraimine Schiff base macrocycle L,. The crystal structure of the complex recrystallised from acetonitrile shows the product of recrystallisation to be polymeric with cyano-linked dimers being further associated through silver.. . silver interactions. 7.88 (t) [2H); 7.55 (d) [4H]; 3.85 (dd) [16H].
