Raman spectra of (DMAPCC) single crystals were studied over the range 10-3200 cm-1 Cl 11 between 100 and 360 K. The changes in the external and internal mode region were observed and characterized. In particular, the symmetric stretching vibration of the dimethylammonium (DMA) group at 890 cm-1 spl

β¦ Synopsis
Raman spectra of were recorded in the temperature range 5-300 K. A continuous phase tran-(CH 3 NH 3 ) 2 SnCl 6 sition occurs at K. The fact that all the E modes of the ion and the ion remain T c = 155 CH 3 NH 3 ' SnCl 6 2degenerate in the low-temperature phase indicate that still has a trigonal structure in the low-(CH 3 NH 3 ) 2 SnCl 6 temperature phase. No soft mode was observed in the low-temperature range. 1998

Ta 2 O 5 ceramics and crystals were prepared and analyzed using Raman spectroscopy in the temperature range 25-873 K. The low-energy phonon bands (n < 100 cm -1 ) of Ta 2 O 5 are assigned to external modes originating from the interaction between different Ta polyhedra and TaO n 5-2n -Ta 6 O 12 6Y c
Effects of the phase transition between the high-temperature tetragonal phases of the CsScF 4 crystal were studied by Raman scattering. The appearance of new lines including a soft mode was observed below the phase transition point, in complete accordance with the new crystal symmetry. The behavior
