Abstract

The preformed iminium salts (1a–1d)‐SbCl react with (1,1‐dimethylallyl)trimethylsilane 2 in dichloromethane at ambient temperature to give the pyrrolidinium salts (3a–3d)‐SbCl in high yield. In addition, small amounts of the ene products 4c‐SbCl and 4d‐SbCl have also been detected.
