A novel method is described to serve as a positive control by including an antiserum raised against and reacted with blots of the molecular standards used in sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The marker antiserum may find further application on nylon based adsorptive membranes which cannot be stained by conventional methods.

## Abstract By combining a number of theoretical relationships concerning the effect of molecular weight on melt rheology, an equation may be derived for conversion of melt indexer flow rate to βapparent molecular weight.β In spite of certain evident theoretical shortcomings of this derivation, the
A method has been developed by which the molecular weight of proteins and other freely diffusing species can be estimated on the basis of chromatographic peak shapes developed by injection of a sample into an open capillary tube in a liquid chromatography system. In chromatographic peaks obtained fr
