โœฆ Synopsis

The problem of representing and processing logical knowledge using a neural network is ลฝ . discussed. A novel neuron model, a triple-valued logical neuron TLN is presented.

ลฝ . There are two kinds of TLNs, triple-valued ''logical and'' neuron TLN-AND and ลฝ . ลฝ . triple-valued ''logical or'' neuron TLN-OR . A multiple-layer neural network TLNN made up of TLNs can implement a triple-valued logical inference system. TLNN can thus form a base for representing logical knowledge using neural networks.

A number of studies have recently been made on hardware implementation of a neuron model for applications to information processing functions of neural networks. The structure of autoreferential statements that describe (or serve as a logical model for) the human conscious experience is analyzed. Autoreferential statements are introduced by autoreferential definitions, such as a=F(a, x), where F is a Boolean function and x is some atomic statement describing

This article examines new issues resulting from applying case-based reasoning (CBR) in e-commerce and proposes a unified logical model for CBR-based e-commerce systems (CECS) that consists of three cycles and covers almost all activities of applying CBR in e-commerce. This article also decomposes ca

In this article we investigate the use of Petri nets for the representation of possible worlds in probabilistic logic. We propose a method to generate possible worlds based upon the reachability tree of the Petri net model. The number of columns in the matrix of possible worlds grows exponentially w
