We propose a lattice Boltzmann model for the wave equation. Using a lattice Boltzmann equation and the Chapman-Enskog expansion, we get 1D and 2D wave equations with truncation error of order two. The numerical tests show the method can be used to simulate the wave motions.
An adaptive mesh enrichment procedure for a finite-element solution of the twodimensional Poisson-Boltzmann equation is described. The mesh adaptation is performed by subdividing the cells using information obtained in the previous step of the solution and next rearranging the mesh to be a Delaunay
## Abstract The PoissonโBoltzmann (PB) equation has been extensively used to analyze the energetics and structure of proteins and other significant biomolecules immersed in electrolyte media. A new highly efficient approach for solving PBโtype equations that allows for the modeling of manyโatoms st
