A device is described which corrects absorbances measured by the Vitatron TLD IOO Densitometer for the effect of light scattering (R + 0.4A2 factor). This permits quantitative densitometry of thin-layer chromatograms without the necessity of using very pale spots (low concentrations), thus increasin
