Abstract

A new method for the preparation of coumestan derivatives was described involving an intramolecular palladiumโ€catalyzed ring closure reaction of coumarins obtained from condensation of substituted oโ€hydroxyphenylacetic add and oโ€hydroxybenzaldehyde.
