β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A new recursion method for the analysis of fiber gratings has been derived. Braggβmatched and detuned uniform gratings and nonuniform gratings have been analyzed by using this method. The results have been compared with that by using the coupledβmode theory and other methods.βΒ© 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 31: 308β313, 2001.

A general partial two-port calibration scheme for transmission parameter measurement has been described. Two important calibration techniques, TL and TM, have been derived from this general scheme.
