β¦ Synopsis
1-Trimethylsilyl acetylenes can be directly coupled with vinyl triflates or aryl iodide in the presence of the appropriate amount of potassium carbonate and methanol and a catalytic amount of AgCl and Pd(PPh 3 ) 4 . Functionalized enynes can thus be obtained in good to excellent yields without prior deprotection of the alkyne.
