โฆ Synopsis
A new assay procedure for the determination of collagenolytic activity is presented. The substrate can be prepared by simple reduction of the purified acidsoluble rat tail tendon collagen with NaB3H4. Collagenase activity is determined by measurement of soluble tritiated collagen peptides released. It has proven to be a method with a high degree of sensitivity and reproducibility.
