โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
This article reports a modification of twoโstrip monopole antenna, which was an undergraduate final year project. The modified antenna uses a thicker substrate when compared with the original design while maintaining the monopole radiation characteristics at the WiFi frequency bands of 2.4 and 5 GHz. One of the significant improvements of the antenna is the inclusion of the mobile WiMAX frequency band at 3.5 GHz. ยฉ 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
