✦ Synopsis
For manganese bronze, carefully dissolve about 0.5 g in x5 ml of concentrated nitric acid, evaporate the solution to dryness, and dissolve the residue with 20 ml of concentrated phosphoric aci_d. The further procedure was the same as that described above for solutions containing the pure manganese salt. Typical results are given in Table III.

A cold decomposition procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of manganese in rocks, ores and minerals is described. Samples are allowed to react with hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia at room temperature for 24 h. Fluoride'ions in the solution are complexed with boric acid and manganese is
Since carbon in metals and alloys has a considerable effect on their physical properties, a simple and precise method for its determination is often required. Of the many available methods for determination of carbon at low levelsi-8 the low pressure method ha.. the highest precision and is usually
Spectropolarimetric titrimetry is a new analytical technique first described by KXRSC~NER ASD BHATNAGAR 1 in X963. A photoelectric polarimeter is used to monitor the change in optical rotation of a solution upon the addition of titrant. A recognizable change in optical rotation of the solution must
